I am a self-taught artist formally trained as an architect and my painting practice is guided by the motivations inherent in both. While my exposure as an architect has been focused on the apprehension of space and light, my inspiration as a painter hinges on a search for the bounds between discipline and surrender.
I make the mediums I use from scratch and use the finest archival materials and highest quality pigment globally sourced. With them as my partners, I wish to create images that you can keep looking at, some kind of sustained eloquence, that give voice to my own astonishment.
